My little Lexi is growing everyday. She is also getting more social. She would smile from time to time. She would even laugh out load! Yesterday, I was out the whole day. I missed her so much. When I returned home, I went to see her immediately. She greeted me with a coo and a big smile! This really melts my heart! I suddenly forgot all the painful sleepless nights.
Nic has been asking me to take him to piano lessons. One of Ricky's customer owns a music school, Music Land, in San Ramon and Fremont. So we gave him a call! It just so happens that he has a Little Pianist class starting in 2 weeks. So he asked us to come join the first lesson as a trial.
We got there bright and early on Saturday morning at 9:30. Hey.. the teacher is also Nick! We call him Mr Nic and Mr Nic calls him Nicholas. He has so much patience with the kids. Nicholas was really into the class. He participated in the circle time, eagerly answered all the questions, and played well in the little games. We also get to play on the piano for a little while. At the end of the 11 classes, the students will be able to play 3 songs. They will also have a recital to show off their piano talents! We look forward to going to the class every Saturday!
Pomegranates are in this time of the year! Nic loves having pomegranates! He patiently watched as I gently take out the seeds. The seeds filled out the big bowl. Nic loves to enjoy the pomegranate one seed at a time. He said its sweet and tangy! Yummm!

Lexi went in for her 6 week well check today. She is in her 25th percentile for her weight and only 10th percentile for her height. Dr Quan predicts Lexi to be 5'1" when she grows up. Sigh.... She got her height from daddy's side for sure!
Lexi took her 3 shots today as well. She only cried for a brief second and stopped crying when I picked her up. Great job, Lexi!

We go to San Francisco again! This morning, we went to Nathan's 4th birthday party. We don't have much to do today so we decided to visit grandparents L in the city. It's also Alexis' first time visiting them. They gave her a red pocket! Grandpa prepared a yummy meal for us. Nic always loved Gung Gung's cooking! After dinner, Nic was holding Lexi and sang to her! So cute!
Don't you love technology? I am blogging from my phone sitting in the back of the ferry building, facing the GG bridge. It's a beautiful crisp cold fall day in November. Nic is in school and Daddy has an appointment in SF to meet with a potential customer. So I am taking Lexi with me to stroll and enjoy the scenery along the water! I am describing to her the buildings, the shops, the pigeons.... And everything in sight. Oh.. How I love to have some 1:1 time with Lexi!
